Madvillainy/Clash Terminology
Clock position (1200, 1030, 600)
Giving direction on a base by using a clock position, like its laying down center of base. Top is 12 o'clock, bottom is 6 oclock.
DGB
Double Giant Bomb: hogs biggest threat
2x2 and 2x4
This refers to open gaps inside a base that may house a tesla/giant bomb(s). Hog riders should have an already dropped heal on 2x4 gaps before they enter the area.
Sniffing, Bomb Sniffers
Use 1-2 hogs to "sniff" a 2x2 or 2x4 gaps near the edge (outer wall) of the base for bombs/Teslas. Pre-detonate bombs or popping Teslas would make your hogs journey much more pleasant
Front/side/back door
Where you drop troops (usually cc troops, hogs/loons) based on where your main army is located. Front door means you release them on same side you entered with army. Back door means the opposite side of main army entrance.
Kill Squad (KS)
A group of troops used to destroy a certain target(s), usually done before main army. Hoggers want to aim for hero(s) and 2x4 spots. KS commonly consists of a golem (optional for th8), wizards and hero(s). Witches and wallbreakers can be added for more utility.
Cold Blood (CB) and Shattered KS
These terms are used to specify how many golems you use In a kill squad. 1 golem is a cold blood (CB). 2 golems is a shattered (th9+ only, use this when a queen is hard to reach or you have more than 1 AD you can take down)
CC21, CC212
These are CC troop request names. CC21 (TH8) is 2 Witches, 1 Barb. CC212 (TH9) is 2 Witches, 1 Wiz, 2 Barbs. Best used to kill enemy cc.
KK (Kamikaze King) or Suicide King
This is when you use your king alone for a specific objective that will greatly benefit the rest of your raid like help create a funnel w/ a DragLoon raid or if there is an exposed enemy queen, drop him nearby and hit ability once she hits/attracts him.
Speed bumps/Buffers/Tanks
High health defensive building (storages, cc, pads, th) that placed in attack line will stall out attack force.
War Army Comps:
DragLoon
10 drags w/ cc max loons (can be hogs depending on base). Sub 1 drag for 20 archers if many undefended buildings.
GoWiWi, GoWiPe (2* comp)
2-3 Golems, 2-3 Witches (or pekkas), Wizards. **Th8's should only use GoWiPe if the target has minimal compartments and you aim for 3*. Th9s, Our clan recommends adding Hogs (GoWiWiHo) or Loons (GoLoWiWi) to all GoWiWi's to always strive for 3*. Always deploy main army to destroy townhall and 50% for a secure 2*. The hogs/loons will assist with the 3*, depending on base.
Mass Hogs, GoHo (TH8+)
24-30 Hogs with various troops depending on base/enemy hero position. GoHo= use a CB Kill squad (golem) to take out deep hero(s).
Hog Deploy Methods
Stream= Release all hogs w/ 1 or 2 fingers in one spot
Wall of Hogs= Release Hogs in a line to attack 3 or more defenses.
Surgical= Deploy 3-4 hogs on each defenses going in a clockwise or counter formation. Common using a giant or 2 on each side of base to tank initial fire (recommended).
Th9+
GoLaLoon, Penta/Quad Laloon
Lava Hounds and Loons. Highly recommended to use a CB or Shattered KS to take out Queen and an AD or 2. Penta/Quad isn't as reliable anymore after aggro update.
HGH (Healer Giant Hog)
3 Healers, 3-4 Giants (6 max Giants in CC), 24-30 Hogs, Wiz. Similar to a GoHo, but main objective is to take down ADs to keep healers alive.
